The Bionanoprobe is part of Microscopy Group of X-ray Science Division.
The Bionanoprobe has been serving the user community since 2011. The major focus is trace element mapping in both two and three dimensions with sub-100 nm spatial resolution. It also supports ultrastructure analysis with ptychography technique. This instrument is unique in cryogenic capabilities including a cryogenic sample environment during measurements and cryogenic sample transfer at a temperature close to liquid nitrogen temperature.
