Bionanoprobe

Hard x-ray scanning nanoprobe with cryogenic capabilities for biological, environmental and materials sciences

Future

*************** Stay tuned! ***************

Bionanoprobe-II (BNP-II): The second-generation of the Bionanoprobe (BNP-II) is under development, and is anticipated to replace the current instrument in 2026. It aims to take full advantage of the APS-U light source and deliver a 10-20 nm spatial resolution.

PFIB-Xray: Plasma focused ion beam milling capabilities will be available at the BNP-II to optimize sample geometry for high-resolution analysis or tomographic data collection.
